Wicked.
Dear Diary,
Woah... I haven't posted in 2 months or so. It was too hard to keep up with. So...update on my life?
I've decided to... start wasting my time blogging again, because some people I know are blogging too. Not that I'm going to let them know about my blog or anything. Hell no. Haha. Why did I stop blogging? Hmm...
Anyways...,I am SO excited about graduating the eighth grade and Midlothian Middle. Thank the effing lord I am leaving the wrecked middle school for good. Haha. That reminds me. In chorus there's this song we haven't started practicing yet. It's call "For Good". I really really really want the solo in the beginning, because the song means so much to me.
"I've heard it said
that people come into our lives
for a reason
bringing something we much learn
and we are lead
to those who help us most to grow
if we let them
and we help them in return
well, I don't know if I believe that's true
but I know I'm who I am today
because I knew you."
I'm sort of worried... about the audition though. Toni, Danielle, and Shannon are probably/most likely auditioning for the solo too and they're really good. Toni's like...Beyonce. She's awesome. I've been practicing my ass off (the solo) and I know the words to that song by heart....the chorus version is just too high. The original starting key for "For Good" used on Broadway is the D sharp above middle C, but the chorus version is the F above middle C. (2 half steps above the original key). Ugh.
Also..., my friend Casey tried to use his "convincing skills" to try to get my chorus teacher to choose him and my other friend Jessica to give them the duet solo in "Don't Stop Believin' " (Glee version. He subsequently tried to convince her that I was working really hard practicing the solo...uhmm yeah. You know what he said?:
Casey: "Hey. Natasha has been singing "For Good" 24/7 lately. She was singing it when our health class was walking to Rita's. I got so annoyed and I felt like pushed her off the curb..."
My chorus teacher: "Yeah. Natasha's annoying sometimes."
Thanks... a lot Casey. Thanks. And for the record...I wasn't even singing it on the way to Rita's. Haha. I've never sang it at school before.
Regarding Wicked..., Emma, Alison, Katherine, Jenny, and Becca wanted me to sing "Popular" from Wicked during French when a sub was monitering our class. So I did. And while doing that I put make-up on Kit and Mark. Ha.
When my French teacher came back... the sub left a note: "There was this girl singing this song. It was so annoying, but surprisingly sounded good"
Then... my French teacher told me to sing "Popular" in front of the whole French class. I guess that was my punishment for disrupting the class. At least I got to put eyeliner on my friend, Jessica's face. It was sort of funny. Then my teacher said, "She's got a career" or something like that. Weird times in French.
And all this happened because of the musical "Wicked". Wow.

Baking is fun! NOT.
Dear Diary,
I had... school for 4 hours or Thursday (2 hour delay) but didn't have it on Friday. What was the point of only having school on Thursday for 1/2 the day? What a stupid county I live in.
Well... I baked (tried to) over the break. For some reason I always get my recipes from www.allrecipes.com. I'm obsessed with using that site for recipes. I made pizza and lemon streusel (what the heck is streusel?!) muffins over the break. The muffins tasted funny....I probably did something wrong. I mean they tasted okay but a bit too sour. They tasted like lemon bars. I like lemon bars, but I don't like lemon bar flavored muffins...blechh. On the other hand the pizza was okay. My mom sorta changed the recipe a bit (A LOT). She always does.
Baking is... so hard. And stupid. You spend 3 hours trying to make something perfectly and then it turns out bad in the oven. UGH. It's so nerve-wracking. But if whatever you make turns out good (which almost never happens for me) then you think..."Huh. I could've bought this at Wal-Mart and wouldnt've wasted 3 hours making it..."
Damn... It's still snowing outside. It's been snowing for 2 days. Or 3. It feels like I'm in a Winter Wonderland. :D
I haven't really... gone outside during the snow break (except for walking Charlie). I don't feel like it. The snow looks pretty and everything but it's too cold. Even Charlie (the dog I walk) doesn't like the cold that much. I walked him the other day and when we got back to his house he ran back in like there was no tomorrow.
I might... go to the mall with Cassie, Ashton, and Jordan tomorrow (For lunch and shopping). I looked up the word "tomorrow" on google just to spell it right here. Even though I could've used spellcheck. I'm such a retard. Anyways, I really want to go to Hollister and get new skinny jeans. They have them on sale for like....$30. What a deal. My favorite pair of skinny jeans shrunk in the washer and all my other skinny jeans are too long on me (I'm so short so I'm going to have to get them hemmed grrrr). Can't wait. Oh....and I need to get some new lipglosses from Bath&Body Works. I love their lipglosses.
I love love love love... the chocolate mint tea my parents got at the mall (at Coffee Beanery). It tastes really good with chocolate and french vanilla. Whoa. That was random (randumb).
If I don't... get to go to the mall with them tomorrow because of the snow I will be very pissed off. The roads don't look that icy though. They canceled the Salisbury Dance yesterday just because of the snow :(.
I almost forgot...I'm auditioning to be an emcee in the talent show this year (not performing grr... I sucked last year though!). But I have to write a 30 second introductory speech for someone. I'm good at writing stories (Yeah..my stories are perfectly appropriate according to Emma... haha) but idk about introductory speechs...yeah. On top of that I have math and social studies AND science and French homework to do. I haven't done them yet. They were all supposed to be due like....last week but the snow saved me from getting a bunch of 0's on homework grades. Thank the snowwwww. :)
If there is Global Warming why is it fucking snowing!?!

Snow Day(s) and Doppelganger Week
Dear Diary,
God... Today was so boring. I haven't had school in five fucking days, because of the snow. It was like the biggest snow storm in 11 years or something. It's going to sleet tonight and snow again on the weekend. I miss everyone at school.
Great... I just realized that because of the snow school is going to be a week longer in June. That means our Summer Vacation will be a week shorter. UGH.
I've spent the whole snow break... on facebook, at the mall, yahoo answers, youtube (listening to lady gaga), singing (lady gaga songs), playing the piano (lady gaga songs), texting, memorizing my monologue (about a coathanger sculpture), and on this site called omegle.com. I'm so weird. Omegle is sorta stupid. Lady GaGa is awesome. She's like the modern age Madonna.
I'm obsessed with... "Again Again", "Speechless", and "Wonderful" by Lady GaGa. Is she really a hermathphrodite? Haha. I can't even spell it right.
My eyes... hurt. I've been on the computer for too long. GRRRR.
Oh yeah and... about the doppelganger week. It's on facebook. Everyone is changing their profile pictures to celebrities that they look like. Haha. You go to myheritage.com and get your look-alike. One of mine was Hilary Duff....wth.
I don't... really have much to say anymore and I don't want to ramble and bore whoever's reading this (if anyone...probably not).
So....tata for now.

Three Cups of Tea Festival (Blech..)
Dear Diary,
Well... today went pretty well. My school had this Three Cups of Tea (Three Cups of Crap...the book was so boring) festival thingy and everyone got to miss 1st and 2nd period. It wasn't fun but at least I got to socialize with some old friends that I haven't seen in a while.
My class paired up with... a gifted class (smart asses/CBGeebies) for the festival. First we went to one of the computer labs to do this online thing about Central Asia. Megan was my partner for it. It was so boring; we just sat around and watched the guy sitting next to us play fotball and kite fighting (soccer....why do they spell it fotball!?!?) on the computer. Oh yeah...and then I realized the guy I liked last year was in that smart ass/CBGeebie gifted class and his class was paired with mine. His eyes are so...blue. Haha
Then Ashton... (one of my best friends) said "OMG do not eat any of the food they give you...it tastes nasty".
After that my class/group went to... the band room to watch a mini (mini as in 2 minutes) play performed by these kids from another school. They sucked (theatre wise) but I clapped anyways.
When... everyone went to the cafeteria for the food tasting part. Ashton was right. The food did taste nasty. There was an oily piece of baklava (personally I hate baklava it's way too oily and sticky and for some reason Shaheena likes it.), a dry piece of chicken (everyone said it was really goat meat), rice with nasty seasonings, and a dry piece of bread (the only thing that tasted okay). I took one bite of each and finished the bread. Blech... Katherine didn't like it either.
I had... the taste of that food in my mouth for 2 hours....ewwww. In the gym we looked around at Central Asian stuff and me, Sarah H., Ren, and Lily saw the prettiest bangles. Lily wanted to buy them but the dude at that station said they weren't for sale. We just looked at them. They were so shiny and beautiful. After that I was just bored and looking around. I chatted with Josh and Megan and asked Logan if I could copy his Social Studies homework. He said yes so I hugged him. Logan is really friendly.
Before we went... to the library we were waiting at the door. I was so bored and Riley, this tall guy, and Olivia were talking about the weirdest things haha. And Wesley technically pushed me into the courtyard. Wesley freaks me out. He's so weird. In the library my science teacher from last year and a few other teachers were dressed in traditional Pakistan bridal outfits and this lady explained everything about weddings in Pakistan. It was interesting.....sorta. Then my classmate, Daniel said: "Oooo. Can I try that head dress on?" and he did. It was hilarious. Daniel thoroughly enjoyed himself....
In the auditorium... I sat by Josh and Megan and behind Jordan and Ashton. I took Josh's paper ninja star and he got pissed off. The seventh grade chorus sang the song "Three Cups of Tea" and then some seventh graders told weird stories. I was talking to Josh and Megan the whole time until Mrs. Necessary got pissed off at me and moved me where she was sitting.... She was like: "SHUT UP....You better come back here and sit with me. Don't distract everyone...". Ugh. I spent the rest of the time bored as hell without Josh and Megan, sitting next to Mrs. Necessary and this random gifted guy (that I didn't know) in her class. This lady talked about Islam stuff and there were 2 dancing guys that did really well. They got 6 volunteers up to stage (to humiliate them?!) to learn this dance. It was funny especially when Marvin did something way off line. Watching the dancing part was the only fun part in the auditorium. :P
My day... was so boring. Thank god the Three Cups of Tea (Three Cups of Crap) festival is over. At least the festival was better than Algebra and English...
I am so lame.

Things I Miss
Dear Diary,
I am so pissed off with my life right now. Last (school) year was so much better than this (school) year. I miss everyone that was in my classes last year.
I miss... talking to Lindsay, Taylor, Elizabeth, David, Spencer (before he got suspended), and Mark (even though he probably hated me) in French class. I don't even talk to Mark anymore and he doesn't talk to me. I honestly don't know why we stopped talking to each other. I think he sorta hated me. I remember Lindsay and Elizabeth saying he did something and they made him apologize. I still don't know what he did. In French he drew the most ran(dumb) things in my sketchbook and smelled my lipglosses (haha). Oh god. I remember him getting high off my lemon duck erasers with Justin. I miss Justin too. He was awesome and now he forgets that I even existed.
I still text Lindsay and Elizabeth occasionally...not really.
Spencer got suspended for threatening a guy. He was one of the most friendly emos ever. His little brother, Richard is so adorable. Richard is really thin. He's like anorexic. Mini emo haha.
David is one of the weirdest guys I have ever met. I've known him since the 6th grade. We were in the same math class back then and he was such a midget. Now he's taller than me. Maybe I'm shrinking. We've gone through a lot such as....Kelli (ew), my (weird, freaky) stories, the talent show (he had a band and I sang this song but he won the talent show and I didn't win anything haha), and me singing in math in the 6th grade (people made me). And we don't really talk to each other anymore. We only talked to each other during French last year.
I miss... annoying Peter in Science. Science was fun last year. Peter and I were lab partners for some reason and we pissed each other off a lot (jokingly) but we still got along. Not really.
I miss... doing weird things with Taylor in Science. We used to pass weird notes around and he made perverted stick figures. For some reason we used to hit each others elbows (like footsie except with elbows? haha) in the middle of class sometime. His joke about blue footed boobies in science was epic and memorable. I will live to be 100 and tell everyone about the "blue footed boobies". I was so weird. He's still....weird haha. I miss that thought. People told us that we looked like a couple and I was like "We're just friends". Then I told Taylor who I liked (cuz he sorta begged me to tell him) I told him and he got pissed off and told me the guy I like is a jerk and the guy after that...and the next guy after that. Oh well....And we got in so much trouble in Science. Taylor is amazing anyways.
I miss... having Bethany, Katherine, and Emma with me in all my classes. Bethany moved up to gifted classes and Katherine and Emma aren't in any of my classes except for French.
I miss... being acquainted with Michael in Science. We used to talk about the most random things. We don't talk to each other anymore but he was one of the most friendly, sweetest, unperverted guys I knew.

I miss... Jaiun (Jayvin!) in my classes. She was amazing. We still talk to each other but not really. Jayvin was mature while I was....immature like everyone else. She kept me grounded and was the reason I stayed alive last year. I was (and still am) absolutely un-normal last year. Crazy, but happy. (unlike now....nowadays I am average but pissed off all the time)
I miss... talking to Cheyenne in Math and Mr. Anderson's class. Mr. Anderson had these wacko outfits and wore charm bracelets. He played flute music everyday before class. Everyone thought it was a treat on the first day but on the 4th month of school we thought it was extremely annoying cuz he played it everyday single fucking day before class. It was one of the best classes because somehow he taught us but didn't teach us. He psychologically made us figure it out without a lot of instruction. I had good grades in his Math class.
I miss... having Chorus with Anna and Natalie and some others. We had the best time and went to King's Dominion in a group together. Now Chorus sucks, because I have it on ODD days now. I'm bored to death 'cause there's no one to talk to. (The people in my class on the soprano section don't like me...I have a few alto friends) At least I got a few solos.
I miss... Gym/Health with Jamela, Sarah H., Sarah M., and Jamie (Even though I think Jamie sorta hated me after Casey stopped talking to me). We had the best times in that class even though Mrs. Cacciotti told Taylor that she thought I wasn't "bright". HA. If I'm not bright how do I stay in all honors classes and get distinguished honor roll (every nine weeks)? And I miss being in the same gym rotation with the guy I liked. He had really amazing blue eyes. (I got a bit obsessive and wrote a poem about blue) I wish I got a chance to talk to him last year. Screw me for not going up to him and chatting or something.
I miss... Social Studies where Mrs. Ezell did these dances and sang songs. David thought she was a really good singer. Dancing...not so much. Mrs. Ezell wasn't really tall (She was like 5'2'' or something) but she was pretty friendly. Social Studies was fun with all the weird people in my class.
I miss... Science. All the people in the class were so amazing (with the exception of a few). We had to dissect frogs (ew), but Taylor, my lab partner/weird used-to-be friend dissected it and did all the work while I was freaking out, hiding behind my desk. I don't like Science this year cuz Science last year had interesting things to learn about (animals, trees, genes, nature etc) and this year we're learning about boring things (elements, physics stuff, atoms etc).
I miss... English with Mr. C and all the unusual guys in my class (David, Mark, Drew, Dustin, Taylor and a lot more.). I wrote really inappropriate stories with murder, rape, kidnapping, pregnancy, etc, but Mr. C let me read them anyways. My English class loved my weird stories, because all the characters had their names and were based off of them. Oh yeah and not to mention my buddies in English (Toni, Meredith, and Jayvin).
Ohhh the memories. This year is the exact opposite. I really miss last year and all those people.
xoxo,
